Guidelines for Families or Groups

Is your family full of prolific writers? Are you part of a writer’s group? This is for you!

Create your own historical record of your family's or your group’s progress and changes. Life changes influence our writing. It’s not always easy to go through our previous work and see how circumstances have made significant differences.

With a physical book in your hand, you can go back and see where you were at any point in time. And with each new book, you can see how you’ve grown.

The personal “stories”, what ever form they take, are your record of life. When put in a book with other’s, it makes a fantastic historical reference. Future generations can look back with pride at their heritage. Our founder, Cyrus Mosier, would be honored.

Pricing will be very similar to that found previously in the Guidelines for the Anthologies of Poetry in Memoriam or Guidelines for the Anthologies of Poetry. Which applies will depend on the number of authors and the types of manuscripts (i.e. poems, short stories, or a mixture).

Gather together all the manuscripts you would like to have printed. Send me a list of authors, the number and type of manuscripts each will be submitting. Include your best estimate for how many pages each manuscript will use.

For size guidelines, please see About Our books

The following are applicable to all submissions.**

1. You determine the number of authors and how many manuscripts they may submit and if the subject matter should be restricted. (Keep in mind that you need 50 pages to receive an ISBN.)

2. The manuscripts must be double spaced for stories or for poems, in normal poem format. Type only on one side of the paper. Clean photo-copies of each manuscript must be submitted. Please keep your originals.

3. Authors may submit a biographical statement suitable for inclusion in the book. We suggest it not be more than 30 lines long to fit on a page and please double spaced them.

4. You may design your own cover or I can help make something attractive. *Obviously, there is a limit to how many authors can fit on the cover. A list of authors is included at the beginning of the book.

5. Editorial decision takes about thirty days from time of submission. If accepted, publication time is about sixty days from receipt of the signed contracts until the book is released.
