ABOUT OUR BOOKS
All the books we publish will have an ISBN number. A book must have
a minimum of fifty (50) pages in order to qualify for an ISBN
number. Authors wanting to have their own books published should
keep this number in mind.
All the books also have a Library of Congress Catalog Card Number.
And a copy of the published book is sent to them.
We use durable, laminated cover stock. This preserves the quality of
the book and also makes it suitable for libraries, bookstores, promotional use, and, of course, for your own collection.
Authors of their own works may have an image &/or design
for the front cover and can choose whatever colors they deem
appropriate and a complimentary background color if desired.
I can help with simple designs when needed. And we have 2
excellent artist who do consignments. There are additional fees
associated with this. Quotes are given before the work is done.
The anthology books are typically 5 ½" wide x 8 ½" long. The left and right
margins are set at 0.75". We work with individual and group
authors to find a complimentary size for your book.
Paper based books are usually printed using the "Times New Roman" font
because it is the easiest for the majority of people to read. Below
are examples of the two most often used font sizes.
Times New Roman Font size 10 - the approximate number of words per page is 225.
The approximate number of lines per page is 35.
Times New Roman Font size 12 - the approximate number of words per page is 170.
The approximate number of lines per page is 30.
(This web page is in Verdana size 9 font because it is an easier
font to read on the web.)
Typically the header contains the Author, Family or Group name and page number on the
left
page (<--) and the title of the book and page number
on the right page (-->). The top and bottom margins can vary
depending on the type of heading and footer used.
The number of pages varies with the publication and the number of
submission entries received for our anthologies. Very few
submissions are turned down. We want to let the world know and read
what many talented authors have to say. You are part of the written
history of our time.
We do reserve the right to turn down any submissions including
those that run counter to basic human rights and decency,
Adjustments can be made to any of these specifications. When working
with individual authors, we always ask you what you would like. And
we can give you different quotes to help you decide which you like best.
Whenever new publications become available, they are featured on the
home page of our website. They are available for purchase from the
site. We make individual arrangements with authors of their own
books. We do not pay authors the standard royalty. Instead we charge a
percentage and you receive the rest of the proceeds from these
sales. Basically the percentage covers processing the payment and
shipping fees. Specifics are worked out with each individual and
will be in the contract.
In addition to a quality book, we also provide you with information
on how to advertise, market, and promote your new book.
